The World Wushu Championships (WWC) are held every two years and are organized by the International Wushu Federation (IWUF) for competitors over the age of 18.
Over the years, students from Wayland Li Martial Arts Centre has successfully earned on a spot on the national Wushu team to represent Canada at WWCs.

有感于【李文启武术学院】为加拿大夺得世界武术锦标赛铜牌
【上海消息/金宏编辑】2019年10月20日-23日，由国际武术联合会主办的第十五届世界武术锦标赛在中国上海举行。
世界武术锦标赛是世界最高水平的武术赛事，来自102个国家的1000多名运动员参加了这次锦标赛。

正在进行中的长拳是女子赛中争夺最激烈的项目，有40个运动员上场，加拿大两个選手的得分都达9.5，是一流的水平。只是高质素运动员多，都是堆在9.5x 和 9.6x 之间，夺取奖牌相当不易
看到加拿大国旗在世界顶级武术赛事上冉冉升起，笔者的眼泪禁不住……
虽然那只是一块小小的铜牌， 但它是我们华人移民的后代为加拿大夺得的，是我们华人移民为这个我们热爱的伟大国家做出的一份贡献！

再说说我所知道的李文启
他原是中国内蒙古武术队的教练，20多年前根据加中两国之间文化交流协定，被中方派来加拿大传授中华武术，4年工作任务完成后定居加拿大。
李文启从无到有白手起家创办了加拿大【李文启武术学院】，而最初的几年他是一边打工，一边教授武术的。
