On January 21, 2023, members of the Wayland Li demo team performed wushu for a Lunar New Year at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. The event was the 2023 Children’s Spring Festival (2023年孩子们的春晚) and we brought wushu to the festivities!
Congrats to Amanda, Chloe, Michael, Sophia, Alex, Robert, Roberta, Thomas, Angelica, Ryan and Eason.

Wayland Li Wushu performed several demonstrations around the Markham/Richmond Hill area, as well as downtown Toronto at Meridian Hall.

On January 21, 2020, the demonstration team of Wayland Li Wushu performed on YTV’s Zone Weekend program for Lunar New Year.
We very much appreciate the opportunity from the YTV team to perform wushu for Canadian audiences!

On March 2, 2019, members of the Wayland Li competition team performed wushu at the Chinese New Year Gala for Wushu Canada, the national sports organization for Chinese martial arts in Canada. The event was held in Markham, Ontario. In attendance were coaches and masters from around the province of Ontario, and various municipal government dignitaries.
Master Li was honoured by Wushu Canada for his achievement in promoting the sport and training countless athletes for national and international competition.

On February 9, 2019, the Wayland Li demonstration team performed wushu and lion dance at the Lunar New Year Gala for the Confederation of Toronto Chinese Canadian Organizations (多伦多华联总会2019新春晚会). The event was held at the Le Parc in Richmond Hill, Canada.

On February 5 and 9, 2019, the demonstration team from Wayland Li Martial Arts Centre performed Lion Dance and Wushu at the 2019 “Simply Splendid” event for Lunar New Year. The event was held at Pacific Mall in Markham, Canada.
The performances were held jointly wit special guests Alan Tam (HK TVB Artist, Singer) and Jonas M. (Canada-China Singer, Model).
