The year-end holiday party was a success! It was great to see everyone in attendance. Thank you for participating and your contributions to the gift exchange. Now for the real fun - winter Wushu camp.
Congratulations to our students at this weekend's sash testing. There were 72 students tested, from beginners to our most experienced athletes. Well done!
The 6th World Junior Wushu Championships (WJWC) was held in Burgas, Bulgaria and 7 athletes from Wayland Li represented Canada. Congratulates Remy, Nima, Erica, Zeina, Rex, Ashley and Adam. We're very proud!

Wayland Li Martial Centre performed at the Moon Festival, hosted in Woodbine Mall. The event was organized by the Federation of Chinese Canadians in Markham. The team performed individual routines, group forms and duilian. Well done team!
The 11th Pan-American Wushu Championships (PAWC) was held in Lubbock, Texas and 10 athletes from Wayland Li represented Canada. Congratulations Erica, Zeina, Rex, Stanley, Amanda, Julia, Adam, Louis, Kai-Hsin and Caleb. Together our athletes took home 3 gold medals, 6 silver and 3 bronze. Superb!

We had 20 athletes from Wayland Li participate in this year's Junior Nationals. The team took home 39 medals across ranked taolu events (15 gold, 15 silver and 9 bronze).
In addition, 7 athletes from our school were selected to represent Canada on the national junior team (Nima, Remy, Rex, Erica, Zeina, Ashley and Adam).

Wayland Li Martial Arts Centre was mentioned by China's media group Xinhua for our Wushu performance. The event was held at the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Toronto on February 6, 2016.
