IWUF Featured Video Post on World Champion Lia Tang-Ruggiero

From the Changquan Group A preliminaries to finals, Lia Tang-Ruggiero delivered two outstanding performances at the 2026 World Junior Wushu Championships in Tianjin, China.

Competing in Girls’ Group A Changquan, Lia finished the preliminary round with the highest score in the field, earning her place in the final. She then delivered again when it mattered most, winning the final and capturing the gold medal for Canada.

We are proud to see Lia, a student of Wayland Li Wushu, featured by the International Wushu Federation (IWUF). A special thank you to the IWUF for producing and sharing this video of her championship performance and for giving young wushu athletes the opportunity to be seen on the international stage.

Lia Tang-Ruggiero（邓敏莉）勇夺世界青少年长拳冠军 从预赛到决赛，Lia Tang-Ruggiero（邓敏莉）在中国天津举行的2026年世界青少年武术锦标赛中连续奉献了两场精彩的长拳比赛。

参加女子A组长拳的 Lia，在预赛中取得全场最高分，顺利晋级决赛；随后在决赛中再次发挥出色，最终为加拿大夺得金牌，荣获世界青少年长拳冠军。
