On February 2, 2019, the demonstration team of Wayland Li Martial Arts Centre (李文启武术学院) performed wushu at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. The event was held to celebrate Lunar New Year.

On February 2, 2019, the demonstration team of Wayland Li Martial Arts Centre (李文启武术学院) performed wushu at the Children's Sprint Festival（孩子们的春晚）. The event was organized by the Youth Future Foundation.
Thanks for the great teamwork from all the parents, and great job from the wushu demonstration team!

On February 1, 2019, the demonstration team of Wayland Li Wushu (李文启武术学院) performed lion dance at the Spring Festival Gala hosted by the Chinese Consulate in Greater Toronto.
On Saturday, January 26, 2019, the demonstration team of Wayland Li Wushu (李文启武术学院) performed at the Henan Association of Canada Spring Festival (加拿大河南同乡新春晚宴). The event was held in Richmond Hill, Canada. The evening featured performances in wushu, dance and Henan Opera.

On January 19, 2019, the demonstration team from Wayland li Wushu performed at the 2019 “China Story” Lunar New Year Gala (2019 加拿大华人华侨春晚《中国故事》). The event was held at the Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts.

On December 30, 2018, Wayland Li Wushu’s lion dance and wushu team put on a performance at the 2019 New Year’s Gala for the Council of Newcomers Organization. The event was held in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

On November 24, 2018, the Wayland Li Martial Arts Centre celebrated its 20th anniversary of Wushu training in Markham, Ontario, Canada. Thank you everyone for coming to the gala and supporting the school!
Former and current students attended the event, along with various special guests, which altogether totaled more than 600 people in attendance.

Congratulations to our 7 athletes from Wayland Li that competed in the 2018 U.S. Challenge X (美国精英赛)!
The October 7th, 2018 competition was organized by the U.S. Wushu Academy, as well as support from Kung Fu Magazine (TigerClaw), Zhao Changjun Wushu Academy and World Swordsmen Federation.
In addition, the event hosted a “Train with Coach Wu Bin (吴彬)” workshop the day before the tournament. Our students were very honored and excited to train with Jet Li and Zhang Laoshi’s coach.

On September 27, 2018 members of the Wayland Li Martial Arts Centre performed the Lion Dance for the 69th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China. The event was held at Toronto’s City Hall, and was attended by Mayor John Tory, municipal government officials and members from the PRC consulate of Toronto.
